Multiple opportunities available for an September / October startNo experience necessaryNon for profit salary packaging available12 month TraineeshipThe TraineeshipDue to a recent increase in requirements for our host client; we at Community Solutions currently have additional vacancies for Chemical plant Operator Traineeships with our host business, Sun Metals located in Stuart.The successful candidates will work toward gaining Cert II in Process Plant Operations (PMA20116). This qualification comprises of 16 units of competency to be achieved over a 12-month traineeship period. High performing trainee’s will be given the opportunity to continue as full-time employees at Sun Metals.Trainees will be working in a crew, reporting to the Team Leader.  The training will allow trainees to operate production equipment within defined specifications and procedures, in challenging conditions. The trainees, will develop procedural knowledge to a range of different activities and develop expertise in problem solving and exposure with a range of commercial, industrial  and consumer products.What will you bring to the role?An interest in working within a Refinery IndustryAbility to work 12 hour shifts in a rotating shift roster 4 on 4 off (2 days/2 nights) shift work experience highly regarded.High level of Work Health and Safety understandingManual handling experience.You are reliableMust be able to pass a pre employment medical including drug and AlcoholDrivers Licence essential due to refinery location and shift work hoursForklift ticket is advantageousWho We Are?Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland.
