This program gives people the opportunity to become more job-ready by providing pre-employment training; and that's where you come in! As our Rockhampton Trainer, you will support, mentor and guide our participants on their pathway to employment by helping them to recognise their own unique skills and abilities.Click here to find out more information about Community Solutions and BRACE!Other key duties will include:Delivering and assessing nationally endorsed training packages, accredited and non-accredited courses and customised industry coursesAs required, organising and attending student placements to monitor student progressComplying with organisational requirements for the completion of records, including attendance, submissions and results recordsBuilding relationships with local employers and community organisationsAbout YouYou hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (40116) or higher; mandatory requirementMinimum 3 years industry experience in relevant vocational industry, including demonstrated experience in training and assessment in a competency-based training environmentAn understanding of nationally endorsed Training Packages and accredited coursesYou will have a solid understanding of vocational education and training delivery, systems and processesWell-developed knowledge of employment trends, opportunities and the local labour marketExcellent interpersonal skills to foster of strong networks within the communityAbility to build rapport and motivate participantsStrong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skillsAdditional requirements:A current Working with Children Check/Blue Card or the willingness to gain one prior to successful commencementA current and valid Driver’s Licence Additionally, in line with the direction from the State Government, all authorised workers defined under the Queensland Public Health Order are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
