Collectively, we are a leading for-purpose provider of a diverse and synergistic range of health and human services.What can we offer you?An attractive remuneration package, including Salary Packaging - save up to $15,900 per year tax free!In addition to your tax-free benefit, you can also use up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income to pay for entertainment expenses (meals, holiday accommodation etc.)Corporate Health Insurance plans and discounts with our corporate partnersAn Employee Assistance Program - a free and confidential phone-based counselling service available to all staff and immediate family membersEncouraged and supported ongoing professional development and diverse career opportunitiesPurchase up to 2 weeks of additional leave each yearAbout the RoleOur Behaviour Support Team Leader is a newly created role responsible for establishing, growing and implementing Specialist Behaviour Support across our sites in the Cairns Region.You will have responsibility for all components of Behaviour Support delivery including mentoring a small team and ensuring Behaviour Support is delivered to NDIS participants according to best practice and within the scope of each person’s NDIS plan.  Along with being the point of contact for providers, you will work with the team to meet output targets whilst ensuring best practice and excellent stakeholder relationships. What you will bring to the roleA strong understanding of good clinical practice, the jurisdictional requirements in QLD and the context in which Behaviour Support is provided including for people subject to restrictive interventionsRelevant Tertiary qualifications including: Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, ABA therapy or similar areas of Social and Behavioural Sciences.Leadership experience in the human services sector including disability, health, family support or another similar service area.Ability to drive and support a small team to deliver resultsExperience working with NDIS servicesCommitment to the highest possible quality on providing positive behaviour support and the ability to communicate that to their team.Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check (formally Yellow Card) and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)Ideally the successful applicant will also come with registration and membership in their chosen fieldHow can you join Community Solutions Group?Please include a written statement, outlining your suitability (including examples), and why you are interested in this role.
