Working with our client you will:

  • Implement positive support plans based on client’s individual needs
  • Provide the customer with personal care, direct self-care, assistance with daily activities and assisting with Medications
  • Be engaged in a range of shift types inclusive of sleepovers, nights and weekends
  • Promote teamwork and independence
  • Build relationships with clients/families and co-workers

About you:

If you are an experienced Support Worker for people with disability, highly motivated to support customers with complex needs and with proven success in challenging environments, we value your application.

  • Experienced with an extensive range of complex and inappropriate behaviours
  • Experienced with full supervision of customer one-on-one in-home and public settings
  • Experienced with medication  
  • Ability to follow emergency processes
  • Available for day, afternoon, night, sleepover and weekend shifts
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to commit to a casual & varied roster
  • Provide direct care for individuals with disabilities in all aspects of their lives
  • Assist in building a supportive and safe workplace
  • Build relationships with clients/families and co-workers
  • National Police check or able to obtain
  • Blue and Yellow Cards or able to obtain
  • Current First and CPR or ability to obtain
