With over 60 machines in operation, the successful candidate will have a large scope of variety and troubleshooting exposure, under the supervision of a qualified supervisor, to provide a boundless range of development within the 4 year apprenticeship.THE APPRENTICESHIP WILL INVOLVE:    Service and repair mechanical parts including diesel engines, fuel, exhaust, hydraulic and brake systems.Troubleshooting with drivers to discover faults and diagnostic proceduresRepair service engines, cooling systems, exhaust systems, diesel fuel systemsRepair manual and automatic transmissions, braking systems, hydraulic systems & final drive assembliesDuties will take place in workshop and out in the fieldDaily physical exertion such as bending, twisting, climbing, lifting, pulling or pushing heavy materialsAbility to use hand and power tools, drills and drilling machines  Full time hours (6am start 2pm finish Mon – Friday)REQUIREMENTS:     Good Attitude, reliable with a strong work EthicDrivers’ licenceConstruction Safety White Card (or willing to obtain)Understand the importance of workplace health and safetyStrong communication skillsEnjoy practical workHave good hand-eye coordinationPre-employment Medical and drug and alcohol testingWho We Are?Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland.
