What is a Mentor?

The Mentor is focused on providing ongoing support to customers within the appropriate employment services program to ensure sustainable employment and outcomes are realised.
A mentor will have responsibility for shaping the future for customers within the program. Ensuring appropriate plans and progress take place to become ready for employment.

What is a Recruitment Specialist?

The Recruitment Specialist is focused on finding sustainable employment outcomes for participants by actively identifying opportunities with regional and local employers through business development and securing placements.
The key to this role will be brokering and maintaining effective relationships with employers, proactively understanding their resourcing needs and successfully matching customers to opportunities.

What is a Customer Care Consultant?

The Customer Care Consultant leads from the front in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to both our customers and the team via phone or video.
The role acts as a concierge, engaging with customers to ensure a positive first impression while educating the community on the benefits of employment services program through direct promotion, business development and event coordination.

This role sits in a large team that is located away from face-to-face services and operates from our prime location with lake views.

What skills do I need to work at Community Solutions?

As a Mentor
You’ll just need to have had some people coaching experience where you’ve been able to create customer development plans and following up on the progress. You’ll also need to be self-motivated, able to think on your feet and be comfortable around computer systems.
As a Recruitment Specialist
You’ll be confident enough and have experience in engaging and building relationships with businesses and the local community.
As a Customer Care Consultant
You’ll need to lead from the front and come with exceptional customer service and administrative support to both internal and external customers.

The following requirements apply for all these roles:

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Willing to undertake a “Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check (should you be successful)
  • In line with the direction from State Government, all authorised workers defined under the Queensland Public Health Order will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 from 15 December 2021. Community Solutions Group also requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to work for Community Solutions?

Yes. In line with the direction from the State Government, all authorised workers defined under the Queensland Public Health Order will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 from 15 December 2021. Community Solutions Group also requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

What hours are available?

We’re hiring permanent full-time staff but come talk to us about your availability if you’re keen to come on board.
