Community Solutions have secured Queensland Government funding to deliver employment-based pre-apprenticeship training, offering a Certificate I in Engineering to support the local manufacturing industry. Through our Pre-apprenticeship Program, trainees will complete 13 weeks of paid full-time training at TAFE, which includes 3 weeks of work placement. Insurance and personal protective equipment (PPE) are fully provided.

By hosting a trainee, you’ll have the opportunity to assess their potential in a real work environment. If it’s a great match, you can seamlessly transition them into an apprenticeship through our trusted Group Training Organisation (GTO) model.

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations has just launched the GTO Reimbursement program, offering support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with 199 or fewer employees that haven’t hosted an apprentice via a GTO in the last 2 years.

Eligible businesses can access:

• $100 per week, up to a maximum of $5,200 (GST inclusive) over 52 weeks, for hosting an Australian Apprentice through a GTO.
• Only 400 spots available until January 2026!
