About the RoleAs a Work for the Dole Consultant (WFD Consultant), you will play a key role in the promotion of Community Solutions within the region.  The role is responsible for sourcing Work for the Dole placements and activities (both individual and group) and employment opportunities throughout the contracted area.WFD Consultants will work closely with employers, hosts and Program Leader as well as other providers to ensure Departmental and organisational targets are achieved.We work within a high performing culture and seek excellence in all that we do.  Therefore, you will be results orientated, with a strong focus in sales, marketing, and project management.  The day-to-day duties include, but are not limited to:The promotion of Community Solutions services within the contracted area;Conducting stakeholder engagement and communication activities designed to support the objectives of the Work for the Dole Program’Identify and contact potential employers and Host Organisations;Managing WFD projects and budgets within Departmental guidelines;Work with potential Host Organisations to develop good working partnerships and identify suitable hosted places and group activities that benefit local communitiesCreating tailored work experience activities appropriate to employer and jobseeker needs;Undertaking risk assessments to consider the safety of each potential Work for the Dole activity;Maintaining and review is safety on each activity within the program;Maintaining effective relationships with all Stakeholders to ensure they are satisfied with the services provided;Work cohesively with team members within the site; About YouYou are a great communicator with a drive for results, with a client focus and a professional but friendly demeanour. You must hold a current open C Class Licence and it is also preferable to have the following:Experience in project managementExperience and proven ability working in a contractually compliant (or similar) environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with StakeholdersDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with people/job seekers from a range of backgrounds including Indigenous, youth, mature aged, etc…Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise reportsA proven track record of achieving performance targets and time management skills to meet deadlinesIndustry recognised WH&S qualification/s (e.g. Worksafe approved WH&S training for Health & Safety Representatives)Senior First Aid CertificateSound Information Technology and administration skills 60000 AUD Rockhampton
