Based in the heart of Rockhampton, this 24-month traineeship will provide hands on experience with a large non-for-profit organisation whilst you earn you a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.The Host The successful trainee will be placed with our host business, The Endeavour Foundation. An organisation where people are working together, making possibilities a reality for people with a disability.With over 5,000 staff operating over 300 sites in the heart of local communities across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, the Endeavour Foundation offers choice, opportunities and personalised support in the key areas of home, work, learning and community participation.This position will be placed with the Business Solutions Team offering various services including document destruction/paper shredding, timber products to mining safety equipment, food and general packaging. This rewarding opportunity will also see you supporting people with a disability working in the warehouse and making a difference in their day assisting them with developing skills in their community.As part of your trainee role, some of the tasks you will be doing include:Maintain quality control standards for all designated areas of productionEnsure all goods are handled in a manner which maintains quality, minimises possible damage, adheres to and promotes safe work practicesEnsure goods are collected and delivered in line with business and/or customer requirementsComply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in the workplace is upheldSupport day to day vocational support to supported employeesForklift ticket and MR Vehicle licence will be issued as part of the Supply Chain TraineeshipOn the job training!
