Become an Apprentice or Trainee

Start a paid apprenticeship or traineeship with training and support.

An apprenticeship or traineeship gives you the chance to earn money, gain practical work experience and complete a nationally recognised qualification at the same time.

Community Solutions employs trainees and apprentices across Queensland and places them with host employers in real workplaces. From day one, you are supported with training, mentoring and regular check-ins to help you succeed.

Whether you are starting your career, changing direction or returning to the workforce, we can help you find the right pathway.

How It Works with Community Solutions

Community Solutions is a Group Training Organisation (GTO). That means:

  • We are your employer
  • You work day-to-day with a host business
  • You are supported throughout your apprenticeship or traineeship

You get the benefit of real workplace experience, with the security and support of being employed by an experienced organisation.

Choose Your Pathway

Both apprenticeships and traineeships combine paid work with structured training, but they suit different career goals.

Not sure which option is right for you? Here’s a simple guide.

Traineeships

Traineeships are a great option if you:

  • Are new to the workforce or are changing careers
  • Want an entry-level role with training included
  • Are interested in office, support, service or corporate roles

Traineeships are usually shorter and designed to help you build confidence, practical skills and real work experience.

Common traineeship areas include business administration, information technology, health, community services, supply chain and corporate roles.
