With an enviable record of achievement as "The Apprentice and Trainee Specialists", TORGAS has built strong partnerships with industry to provide quality employment opportunities in apprenticeships and traineeships.TORGAS is seeking candidates that are looking to complete an Refrigeration Apprenticeship based in Townsville. The duration of this apprenticeship is 4 years and allows you to complete a Certificate III Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration. If you are motivated and hardworking, we want to hear from you! ELIGIBILITY: JUNIOR Wages Apply THE APPRENTICESHIP WILL INVOLVE:Use drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes and specificationsDocument and apply measures to control OHS risks associated with electro- technology workFabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry componentsCleaning up and packing up of tools and equipment around work siteFix and secure electro-technology equipmentREQUIREMENTS:Valid manual drivers licence with own transport;White Card (Construction Safety Induction);Able to work independently and as a part of a team;Demonstrated hand-eye coordination; Enjoy completing practical work;Physically fit;Able to carry out precise and detailed work;Ability to provide two work related references. Successful applicants will be required to pass an aptitude test, and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.This apprenticeship will allow you to gain a Certificate III in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration.
