Following an amalgamation in October 2014, Community Solutions and Endeavour Foundation aspire to make a profound and positive difference for individuals, families and communities.  Together, Community Solutions and Endeavour Foundation seek to assist people to realise their full potential through easy access to holistic support and care within their communities.About the roleWe are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic new team member to join our incredible Bundaberg team in a fixed term capacity (till end June 2019), working weekend evenings (minimum 8 hrs per fortnight).Safe Night Out delivers support services to address alcohol-fuelled violence across designated Safe Night Precincts. The service will increase the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable people and those at risk of harm to themselves. This support will also extend to others affected by the influence of alcohol and other related substances.Key duties include:Under the direction of the Project Coordinator, lead a team of volunteers through on-street safety patrols across designated Safe Night Precinct areas on Friday and Saturday nights and other events as requiredProviding critical support, first aid, care and support to individuals who need assistance as a result of intoxication or the intoxication of othersWorking collaboratively with QPS, QAS and the local business community to reduce the incidence of injury and accidents involving patrons of licensed premises. About youOur successful candidate will be available onsite for late night Friday and Saturday on street duties (11pm-3am).
