About the RoleWe are looking for an energetic, results driven Recruitment Partner to join our friendly and supportive team in the Peninsula Region.   The person we are looking for will come with a variety of work and life experience, a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to look ‘outside the box’, when developing tailored pathways to employment for some of our most vulnerable customers who live in our community. The role's responsibilities include:Network with Community organisations who work with people with a disability, illness or injury, to explain our services and attract those in our community who need support to look for workEngage with employers and gain an understanding of the local labour market to identify new and ongoing employment opportunities for our customersDevelop strong relationships with our customers - face to face, online (eg via Zoom) and over the phone, to understand their capacity to work, their employment preferences and what support, skills and knowledge they may need to secure ongoing, tailored and sustainable employment. Provide support to our employers and customer after they start work, to review their progress and ensure any issues are actioned swiftly to support them in their new workplaceAssist our customers with developing the skills and knowledge they need to secure ongoing suitable workWork with local community services where required to respond to our customer needs and to prepare them for employment About YouWe are looking for passionate people who genuinely want to assist others in our local community with addressing the things that hold our customers back from securing ongoing employment.  It doesn’t matter if you do not have experience in our industry, however here are a few things we are looking for in this role:Managing, building and proactively engaging with your portfolio of customers in a fast paced environmentAbility to work with customers with diverse needs and from different backgrounds and life experienceMeeting KPIs & producing strong results. We need someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who is focussed on resultsStrong business development and lead generation skills.You will need to be comfortable and competent in building positive relationships with key stakeholders eg: employers and community organisations across multiple industriesA positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to an ongoing changing environment (this is a must!)Current valid Driver’s Licence, WWCC & VIC Disability Check (or the willingness to gain one -we can assist you)Structured Induction framework is in place with full training and support provided About UsFor more than 40 years our Community Solutions Group via Skills Plus in Victoria, our services offer a pathway through education, training and employment.
