You will have responsibility for all components of Behaviour Support and Clinical Services delivery including mentoring your team and ensuring services are delivered to NDIS participants according to best clinical practice and within the scope of each person’s plan. You will be the point of contact for providers, the NDIA, Quality and Safeguards Commission and the OPG; and will work with your team to meet targets whilst ensuring best practice and excellent stakeholder relationships. About YouYou will ideally have knowledge of and experience in working with people with intellectual disability who have complex and challenging behaviours. You will also have a strong understanding of good clinical practice, the jurisdictional requirements in QLD as they relate to Positive Behaviour Support and the context in which Behaviour Support is provided, including for people subject to restrictive interventions.You will also have:Relevant Tertiary qualifications such as: Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or similar areas of Social and Behavioural SciencesA current Driver’s LicenseRight to Work in AustraliaExperience in a leadership position in the human services sector and demonstrated ability to drive results at an individual and team levelAn understanding of the commercial environment in which NDIS providers operateCommitment to the highest possible quality on providing positive behaviour support and the ability to communicate that to their teamWillingness and availability for some travelIdeally you will also come with AHPRA registration as a psychologist or occupational therapist, or membership of another appropriate professional body.To ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers, Community Solutions Group requires all authorised workers as defined under the QLD Public Health Order to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.How can you join Community Solutions Group?Please include a written statement, outlining your suitability (including examples), and why you are interested in this role.
