The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) program assists eligible unemployed people to start new, viable small businesses. We are currently delivering the NEIS program offering individualised assistance for jobseekers to become self-employed business owners. About the RoleWe are now looking to hire a Program Coordinator on a permanent part time basis (3 days per week) to join our friendly, supportive and high performing team based in Port Adelaide.  The role will include enrolment support, data processing and marketing of the New Business Assistance with NEIS program contract, Exploring Being My Own Boss workshops and other services of BRACE Education and Training.Other responsibilities include;Contributing to all office operations for the program including records managementPlanning and scheduling program eventsRepresenting BRACE and maintaining relationships with government and community agencies, referral sources and local mediaMaintaining compliance in government contracts About You:You will ideally come with previous relatable experience in providing services, support and guidance within an employment and training context. An ability to quickly build rapport with customers along with a high level of both written and verbal communication will see you thrive in this role. Our successful applicant will also ideally possess:  Ability to set realistic goals, problem-solve and establish work prioritiesProven team playerStrong administrative and compliance capabilitiesKnowledge of relevant industry software packages eg VETtrak and ESS (preferred but not essential)Previous small business experience will be considered an advantageThe successful candidate must hold and maintain a valid and current Driver’s licence.
