You will work proactively with participants by coordinating and engaging support to ensure they are getting the most out of their NDIS plans, reducing barriers and putting action plans in place along the way. Other key duties will include:Building strong relationships with participants, their families and external service providersHelping participants to negotiate with providers about what they will offer and helping them to understand the cost they’ll need to allocate from their NDIS budgetEnsuring service agreements and service bookings are completedTaking a holistic approach to capacity building and helping participants to break down and address their barriersWhat you will bring to the role:A solid understanding of the NDIS and the ability to understand facets of the NDIS and NDIS Plans/BudgetsYou are a true people person with the ability to motivate and build rapport with participants, their families and service providersA business mindset and a customer service focusExcellent time management and prioritisation skills with high-level organisation skillsA positive attitude, eagerness to learn and willingness to adaptStrong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skillsAdditional requirements:Right to Work in Australia i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa with permission to workA current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker's Screening Check, or the willingness to gain these clearances if successfulA current and valid Driver’s Licence Willingness to undertake police checkTo ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers, Community Solutions Group requires all authorised workers as defined under the State Public Health Order to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19How to ApplyTo demonstrate your interest in this role, please submit a cover letter and up to date resume outlining your relevant experience as per the advertisement above.
