Collectively, we are a leading for-purpose provider of a diverse and synergistic range of health and human services.Within our Community Solutions business we specialise in the delivery of holistic support to improve individual’s health and wellbeing with a range of programs including ParentsNext and Skilling Queenslanders for Work programs. These programs focused on developing skills for individuals including building confidence, complete training and access local support to achieve goals and enter and stay in the workforce. The RoleWe are now looking to hire a Project Support Officer on a part time basis (min 3 days per week) on an initial contract till October 2021 (with possible extension) . This role will work with the Team Leader and the Senior Project Officer to assist participants with training and activities that will support their transition to employment and/or further education and training. This may include support to coordinate accredited and non-accredited training, participant recruitment, post-placement support and recording participant outcomes.The Project Support Officer will have an understanding of the issues faced by participants when planning to enter, or return to the workforce. Additionally, this role will have sound administrative skills to support the ParentsNext and SQW team as required. About YouThe successful applicant will come with sound administration skills and preferably have industry related experience from sectors such as Community Services, Employment Services or Training.You will also be able to confidently develop and maintain relationships with the team, as well as various Stakeholder groups when required including RTOs, local employers and community groups.You will also come with:A knowledge of the issues experienced by parents and mature jobseekers including barriers to education, training and employment.Intermediate competency in computer applications, (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is relayed as aligned to the audience.Experience in ESS (Employment Services System) or the aptitude to quickly learn new computer systems.Excellent organisational ability to ensure attention to detail in your work.A current and valid driver’s licence is essential, as is a current Blue Card or the willingness to gain one prior to commencement.
