In this role you will plan interventions and solutions whilst providing candidate care and working on building stronger employer relationships. A solid understanding of people centred case management principles including barrier management is core to your continued success. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Build and maintain effective customer and employer relationshipsGain understanding of the role requirements and assess customer fit and training needsWork with customer and employer to ensure smooth transition into the workplaceMaintain regular contact and provide on-going support with customers and employersDeliver effective and timely communication and post placement care to both employers and customersRecord all actions within the required timeframes, ensuring all schedules are maintained regularly with documentary evidenceTo be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience in job seeker service delivery and mentoringHighly developed problem solving and negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and able to adapt style to suit audienceKnowledge and application of Disability Employment Services (DES) contract Deed and guidelines desirable but not essentialAbility to prioritise workload, use initiative and multi-taskSelf-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable work styleAbility to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a teamHigh level of computer literacyAn open car drivers licenceCandidates with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience within the Employment Services, Training, Rehabilitation, or Community Services or a similar type sector are highly desirable.
