About the roleDue to growing business requirements, we are now looking to hire a Sessional Trainer/Assessor for a February 2019 start to deliver the course: CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education SupportAs a Trainer/Assessor you will be involved in the design and lead the delivery of our courses and organise and supervise students in practical placements. We are passionate about our Quality & Compliance. We invest in moderation, validation, professional development and feedback to improve our delivery. You play a key role in developing our courses to support the needs of our student cohorts.Key day to day duties will include:Planning and preparation for lessonsDelivering classes;Assess and evaluate trainingGeneral administrative duties About youFirst and foremost you will have a keen interest and passion in the teaching and learning of others. Our successful candidate will ideally have previous experience and qualifications in a training capacity which are further listed below:A degree or diploma in teaching, primary education, specialist education or related qualification - please provide the full title, year gained, institution with your applicationAnd/or the CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support or similar or higher qualificationA TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (with the elective units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or willing to gain immediately), or the newest version, the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentSignificant experience working in a primary, secondary or specialist educational school as a Teacher or Teacher's Aide and evidence of maintaining industry currencyA current working with Children Check or VIT Registered is essential as is Police Check or the willingness to gain one.
