Enriching people’s lives, enhancing communities, developing regions.
We work towards fulfilling our vision with the objective of providing direct relief to people experiencing poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability or helplessness.
One: We are one, valuing individual strength and experience so we can achieve more together.
Imaginative: We never stop imagining a better future for our customers.
Care: We care and treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Passionate: We are passionate, our customers are at the heart of everything that we do.
With 20 dedicated service sites and up to 400 skilled service workers, Community Solutions aspires to be a “leader” in each of our communities, particularly in the objective of environmental sustainability. Our “Sustainable Solutions” strategy has achieved significant change in our practices, asset management and carbon footprint within regional Queensland.
Key achievements have been made in the dramatic transformation of our fleet, the installation of a “solar farm” on the roof of our Sunshine Coast building, the utilisation of rainwater tanks in a commercial office building, the adoption of efficient lighting throughout our office sites, the efficient recycling of waste material and the dramatic reduction in the daily use of plastic bin liners.
There is greater sustainability to be achieved, but we are well on the way and now can engage and partner with other community stakeholders to develop and promote “sustainability” in all its forms.
